When they're good they're good, but ordering via the app lately has been a crap shoot. One time several of my ordered items were unavailable and I suspect the shopper just didn't know where to look for the items (for example there were fresh seafood items that were substituted with frozen). Sometimes they send me items I didn't order or pay for. The first time I called the store to tell them about the error. They told me to keep the extras and they would send the items to the person who ordered them. They sent me all of the extras AGAIN. I stopped trying to fix it and today I refused to accept the giant jug of softener I neither ordered nor paid for. The prices are too high so when I can shop in person I go elsewhere. I shop vus the app when my health keeps me home but the service is too unreliable now. I'll likely take my online grocery shopping elsewhere because I don't want to be taking groceries someone else ordered and paid for and I would like to get the things I ordered. This time they also sent me the more expensive apples as a substitution that I declined. Thankfully they didn't charge me. Not sure why my review from April was posted as the "pharmacy" but I'm going to post it again so everyone can see the ridiculous behavior of a grown older woman. I was wondering why I got 0 response from anyone about this. So let me post her AGAIN. 4.18.26 around 430pm. Most miserable person was working self checkout. I went to self checkout with the intent of cash back. I was unaware that 1 couldn't get cash back with tap to pay. Your card has to be physically inserted. Again, I was unaware. After my purchase was complete, I simply turned to the self checkout employee and asked if they stopped doing cash back. She replies "it needs to be inserted" I then apologized and explained to her I was unaware of that being the way cash back works and then asked if she would be able to refund it so I can get cash back on a separate transaction. She then STEPS TO ME with a passive aggressive SMUG smile, and stares at me for a good 10 seconds, and then says "it's not my iob I'm not supposed to do that! Customer service does that!" And then snatches my receipt while shaking her head repeatedly, and walks a few steps over to the employee register, where her coworker was standing. The angry woman

What’s going on with you Shaws?? 🤯. Every time I go in there your prices go up. And most the time certain areas are not stocked up trying to force us to buy the brand we don’t want. You’re not for the people your for the $$. Get it together and have some standards and dignity!!!

This is my go to grocery store as it is about 2 miles from my home. The interior as been upgraded to clearly marked bins and shelves for produce and non perishable. There is always a good selection and the only time I've come home without something I meant to get was once during pandemic and again when I simply forgot to get item. Plenty of free parking, helpful employees and shopping carts that work well are always available.

This used to be the best grocery store in the area. Incredible selection and unique foreign options which allowed for a variety of creative dishes. Sadly, they went through one of the worst remodels I've ever seen and now things are all over the store and it makes no sense. What's worse is that they are always out of stock of about 60% of their products. Entire shelves or freezers empty. This place is on its last leg.
